The first ever Run Orewa was scheduled for 17th October 2021, the opening event of an expanded North Shore Run Series. Unfortunately, COVID had other ideas and New Zealand had strict gathering limits in place at that time. The event was postponed until January 2022 and not only were gathering limits removed on that day ... but the sun shone down on a beautiful summer day to welcome the new year.
